The Conference in Cleveland

margaret Sanger was born Sept. 14 (feast of the Triumph of the Cross), 1879. She was the sixth of eleven children. Her mother was a devout Catholic, her father,Michael Higgens, an apostate and a self-styled "free thinker, who did more thinking than working to support his family. He was shunned for his radical views, and Margaret feared him greatly. She described her home life as "...joyless and filled with drudgery and fear." One day, her father overheard Margaret praying the Lord's Prayer. When she came to "...Give us this day our daily bread", her father said, "Is God a baker?" Margaret answered, "He gives us the rain, and the sunshine...which makes the wheat, and them the bread>' Unimpressed,he determined to squelch her budding relationship with God. Margaret was confirmed in secret, to avoid the wrath of Higgens. But his constant attacks on her Faith finally took it's toll; but the time she was 17, she embraced a great hatred for the Church, and spent the rest of her life doing her best to undermine it.
She attended The Hudson River Institute, where she was first exposed to the cauldren of radical and revolutionary thought; politics, radical feminism, and the push for unrestricted sex. She tried out several professions, including kindergarten teaching, which she eventually quit. Then she studied nursing (never finishing her schooling, though PP advertises her as a nursing professional). She found work and studying too difficule, being naturally lazy. She finally found her way out of the tedious business of working for a living; she married money.
William Sanger was attractive and charismatic. He courted her with single-minded devotion, and within but a few months, they were married. However, she found that homemaking was ALSO work, and boring work at that. They had 3 children, 2 boys and a girl; but "fufillment still eluded her.
William had had ties in radical movenents, and attended Socialist, anarchist and Communist meetings In nY's Greenwich Village. Margaret caught the infection and soon plunged herself into rebellion and revolution.

Washington D.C.

I gave my talk on being conceived in rape, plus the need to reform adoption laws, so that !>Birthmothers would be more receptive to choose adoption. By this I mean, unsealing the records, for the good of the mother AND the adoptee. This is the "third rail" of the pro-life movement. I was worried that I'd just get people angry. Instead I got a standing ovation. Plus, $400 for the talk. Then some people are putting together a documentary on the various aspects of the pro-life movement. They were particularly interested in my position on NEVER using religion to debate abortion. The facts speak for themselves. So they interviewed me for the documentary.
All in all it was a great march - 300,000 people, at least more than half of them young people!
This movement, with all it's flaws, will endure until we restore civil rights for all people, born and pre-born.

DC

I'm getting ready to go to DC on Monday to speak to a group at the March for Life. It will be a chronicle of my experience as an adoptee and a Child of Rape.
We're leaving Buffalo at 8pm tomorrow night. I sure hope I can sleep on the bus!
We'll see - I'll report on the talk and the March when I come back.

My Daughter's miraculous conversion

My Daughter's miraculous conversion
by Helen Westover on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 6:48pm
The story begins with Alison's insistence that I read the unbelievably bad Twilight series. This is about good vampires, and bad vampires, written by a Mormon to whom the stories just "came". At the time, Alison was a "recovering Catholic", who attended a non-denominational "church. So, I offered it up, and read the damn things (a trilogy). In return I sent her the Bill Biersach book, "The Darkness Did Not", about decidedly BAD vampires, vampires that were actually demons.Bill Biersach is a Trad author who has written several "Father Baptist" novels - truly funny, suspenseful, and shot through with Traditional Catholicism. I began to realize what I was dealing with when Alison asked me, "Mom, were the crusades fought against the MOSLEMS?" As she read, she realized how she had been cheated by her (expensive) "Catholic" education. All these riches, she said; a true Catholic Culture, about which she knew nothing. I put her in touch with
Bill, and they began to talk via email. She learned that her "Bible Church" had dumped 11 books of the original Bible - how many distortions were in their bible - she realized that she had been deceived. Bill told her to read his autobiography, in which he chronicled his betrayal by the Conciliar Church, his years of wandering, and his eventual discovery of Tradition. It mirrored Alison's path. Over a month or so, Aliie realized that in the Catholic Church was the Truth - nowhere else could Truth be found. She saw a FSSP priest yesterday - lots of kinks to iron out, for her to receive the Sacraments (Pray for this, please), yet she came away from the encounter more determined than ever. She will go to Confession, for the first time in years today, will attend our Mass on Sunday, and also will be invested in the Scapular. This whole thing has my head spinning. I have witnessed a true miracle (much of this is condensed so as not to bore
you all to tears). Out of my reading of occult books (which I read so I could gently point out their errors), came a miracle of conversion. She is happier than I have ever known her to be.I ask your prayers for her, and for me, and for my dear friend Bill Biersach, that what God has begun in Alison will bear much fruit. She is quite a target now for you-know-who.May His Majesty be praised forever.Helen

My Dear Daughter

My 40ish daughter is reading "The Darkness Did Not" by Bill Biersach. I'll expand on this later, but the book (hilarious, terrifying, didactive in a non-threatening way) Has moved her to actually reconsider the Faith of her birth - Roman Catholicism.
This is so many faceted, I'll be back when I have time.

nned Parenthood Launches ‘Social Change Initiative’ to Teach Parents How to Educate Children About Sex, Including Masturbation, Homosexuality
Wednesday, December 29, 2010
By Penny Starr

Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards (AP photo/Ron Edmonds).
(CNSNews.com) – The Planned Parenthood Federation of America is signaling its intention to dominate the national sex education agenda.
Specifically, Planned Parenthood's Web site announced the group is preparing to launch a nationwide “social change initiative” to end the “stigma and shame about sex” in American culture.
The project aims to teach parents and caregivers how to educate children about sex -- from birth. And it recommends telling teenagers about masturbation, oral sex and “where to go for help to prepare to be sexually active.”
The “Real Life. Real Talk” initiative began as a pilot program in communities in Maine, New York, Connecticut, and Arizona between 2004 and 2008, according to a report about the initiative that is for sale on the project’s Web site.
Now Planned Parenthood is preparing to launch the program nationwide, with funding from donors and private groups, including The Ford Foundation.
“Real Life. Real Talk" is based on the belief that reducing the shame and stigma attached to sex also reduces a barrier to sexual and reproductive health services, eventually reducing the rates of sexually transmitted infections, HIV/AIDS, and unintended pregnancies.
The initiative is geared to parents and caregivers of children aged 8 to 18. In the four pilot states, parents were invited to attend workshops where they received Planned Parenthood’s guide to “Sex Ed for Parents, Real Life. Real Talk." The events were held at different community venues, including schools, churches, social services facilities and libraries.
The "Real Life. Real Talk" guide, offered in English and Spanish, is tailored to specific groups of parents and caregivers, including grandparents raising their grandchildren, “queer parents,” and parents of children in elementary school.”
A "Parent Tips" section of the "Real Life. Real Talk" Web site says children are never too young to learn about sex. It states, in part:
“A child’s sexuality, sexual feelings, and sexual attitudes develop from the moment of Birth -- even before a child can speak. In fact, children start learning about sexuality through observation of family interaction and surroundings. When you don’t talk with your children about sexuality, you may give them the message that there is something wrong with sexuality and that it is not a topic you’re willing to discuss.”
“You can begin teaching your young child the basics of sexuality — anatomy, reproduction, sexual orientation, personal safety, feelings, relationships — as well as your own values,” reads the document. “As children grow and mature, they will be more interested in details about pregnancy and birth, the changes of puberty, etc.”
Another section, entitled "Conversation Starters," tells parents to be “factual" and to "clear up slang” when answering questions. It offers examples of children's questions, including slang for female masturbation and oral sex.
One talk-to-your-child tip includes the following bulleted item: “Take your child to the drugstore and point out the pads, tampons, condoms, etc. Take your teen to a clinic for contraception and exams, or let your teen know where to go for help to prepare to be sexually active.”
The Web site’s “Teen Reality” tab includes videos, including a “Don’t Dance with Death” video written by high school students in McAllen, Texas. It features a “witch” giving young girls a potion and a condom before they go to a high school dance. One of the girls then gives the condom to the boy with whom she is dancing.
The report on "Real Life. Real Talk" says the initiative will be marketed nationwide through TV public service announcements, print ads, radio, posters, bus shelters and other promotional materials such as T-shirts.
According to its annual report for Fiscal Year 2008-2009, Planned Parenthood’s income from government grants and contracts totaled $363.2 million, up for $349.6 million for the previous fiscal year.

VOTE for pro-life candidates that will not support this organization with OUR tax dollars. We must hold our representatives accountable for their votes, and remind them that we want the government out of our private lives! Planned Parenthood would like you to believe they are "helping" educate all of us in having healthier sexual lives. All that has happened since the great "sexual revolution"and introduction of contraception, is more STD's, more infertility, more babies born out of wedlock, more abortions, and more broken families! Some record!

Funny how there was less bad behavior when people had the good grace to be ASHAMED of bad behavior. And, sorry to say, having sex when you're fifteen, having sex with multiple partners before adulthood, repeatedly getting and treating STDs and having abortions as a form of birth control are BAD BEHAVIOR.
But, let there be no shame in that. Next, let's take away the shame of committing armed robbery, then homicide. Why feel bad about anything! Because, after all, it's all about FEELING, is it not? Ahhhh, they joy of "good self-esteem."
Good self-esteem, unearned, equals narcissism. Thank you, American Left. You're making great strides - you are people who actually make our country worse, not better, and most importantly, you FEEL GOOD about it.

I think that the parents should be teaching their children about what the bible says about sex.
After all, God has the last say in the matter.
Not what man thinks.
There is a way that seems right, but the end thereof is death.
Children should be taught about family and living godly at home, not at school or by the government.
Every man and woman will have to stand before the God of the universe, and give account of everything done in this mortal body.

MARGARET SANGER AND THE NAZIS

Few people today know that Margaret Sanger, the founder of the Pro-Choice Movement, and the founder of Planned Parenthood, was an admirer of Dr. Rudin, and published several of his articles. Sanger had a white-racist, Lothrop Stoddard, on her Board of Directors. Stoddard was the author of several anti-Semitic and white-supremacist books. He was a well-known admirer of Adolf Hitler, and an open supporter of the Nazis. Sanger herself was a eugenicist and neo-Malthusian.

“The most merciful thing that a family does to one of its infant members is to kill it.”
Margaret Sanger, Founder of Planned Parenthood

When will this include helping your child know that his/her DNA requires special education so that males will quickly feed into the gay community and skip socialization with the wrong one?

It should help insure that future males with the gay DNA will come from unions of those who are heterosexual in the same proportion as in the past?

I wonder if Planned Parenthood will teach kids & adults about the Dangers of "Full Body" Scans at Airports, when
no eye-protection is used from x-rays, plus x-rays can
cause "Cancers" & finally they'll be "endangered" with the real posssibilities--that they can be made Sterilized
to never have any Kids-! Nazi's used these same x-rays on Jewish women to destroy their Ovaries-! (Facts--WW-II)
Fact--today's X-ray techs wear a "Full-Body" lead apron,
but they also step-out of the x-ray room--when the X-ray
is shot-! (Ask any Dr, why a "Lead-Apron"-?) Because no-body want to be "Sterilized" w/o their permission-! Plus,
they don't want "Cancers" either-! How much is it worth--
to have over 4 million kids & adults--"Forced by their Govt" to take Full Body X-ray Scans--with "known-risks" of being "Sterilized"-!? Is Fed. Govt. lying to them-!?
(Shoe-Store X-rays were "Outlawed" from use during 1937-
1939, when AMA Doctors convinced Congress of the Dangers
these X-ray machines-! What makes you think the Dangers
no longer exist-!? (Some Govt Official said-So-!?)

Sex education should be taught by parents...delegating it to others, especially the government or values that are not Christian based are equivalent to "dancing with death". Where abstinence programs are implemented they show a much better track record. Where condoms and safe sex education programs are implemented there are documented detrimental 2nd and 3rd order affects. It all sounds good upfront...but the reality is that it is window dressing and doesn't cut to the issues. Abstinence is the answer...Ask God...he will answer.

Right on LovingMomAZ. You write with intelligence and wisdom, which from reading all the other post, seem to be lacking. I wish you well in your endeavors in rasing well educated young men and women.
What those other idiots don't realize is that when they condone and promulgate ignorance about their bodies, they loose a little be of their humanity.
Then, of all things, they hope that their God will give them a seat on his council for their piety. This I find quite hillarious, in that ignorance knows no bounds when stupid people want to hide their collective heads up their butts.

Who is condoning ignorance? The people who say that sex is great when practiced in its proper place (marriage) or those who say that it can be done anywhere, at any time, and with anyone? The first group has a set of moral guidelines that help them make this decision and you blast them for it. The second group is idiotic and you call them well educated. Question for you: Do you think that it is ok to have sex with another person when you are in a relationship with someone else? If yes, then you are an idiot and have not hope of sustaining a healthy relationship. If no, then you have a moral standard by which you practice sex. This also puts you in the same boat as those you call idiots because they have a moral standard for acting a certain way and so do you, only they are open about their morality where you are not.

I can't believe how many negative comments there are about this! I've been talking to my children about sex, their bodies, masturbation, puberty, etc. since they were old enough to ask questions. As a result, I have a teenager & a pre-teen who are aware of the world around them and have no problem asking my advice about anything and everything. Neither is yet sexually active, but my teenager recently asked if I would purchase condoms so he could practice putting them on. He said he'd rather know what he's doing than fumble around in the dark and possibly end up getting a girl pregnant or getting an STD. I had NO problem doing so; I would much rather know he's practicing safe sex than one day get a phone call from some irate father yelling at me that my son got his daughter pregnant! After all, no one can tell anyone else when it's the right time to start having sex (not even parent to child). That's a personal decision, but it's a decision that my son can make with intellligence because I've given him the tools necessary to do so. Grow up, people! Sex, and the ability to enjoy sex, is a vital part of the human species. Why would you think it better to keep your children ignorant??? Or is it that you don't want your children to realize how ignorant YOU are???

The disgust with Planned Parenthood and their agenda doesn't mean people are FOR keeping children ignorant and uneducated. It's not an either or proposition.

You can ABSOLUTELY disagree with their initiative COMPLETELY and still be for openess and educating children in sexuality, as you point out that you are with your children.

The problem is PPH's worldview is in fact ignorant to key spiritual truths about who we are which make their "education" misleading at minimum, destructive at worst, and foolish in total.

It is easy to see the problems within this initiative where the points could be easily listed and explained. The push back to this organization and this program isn't about being open and honest about sex with our children (everyone should be open and honest with their children about this topic which is in your face at every turn), its the content. Its the understanding and values on the subject that is the problem. There is a fundamental worldview disconnect that can't be argued on the post; you either see it and understand it, or don't.

If you can't see why people would have a problem with planned parenthood, perhaps you need to be more open minded and ask yourself why they is opposition against them (I know its hard to do so when comments expressing a different view of PPH's initiative than yours are crude and/or vulgar ). We are all imperfect, but we all stand to benefit trying to see if we can find truth in other's claims rather than trying to find reasons we're all idiots (that in fact is the easiest thing to do!).

Nobody with a healthy perspective on life would repress knowledge on the subject, but the last people on the planet I would want to teach my children about sex is Planned Parenthood.

In part you speak as an animal. The other part as a loving parent. Basically I agree it is the parent's responsibility and choice for sex education. The parent, not others. You generally state your position well.

How is it that I speak as an animal? Given that animals do not have the ability to speak, much less to reason, I find your statement quite confusing. I do agree that it's the parents responsbility, but I see PP's offering of workshops on how parents might deal with this responsiblity as simply another resource for those who find discussing sex and sexuality with their children difficult, embarassing, etc.

Please do not lump all conservatives and liberals with such a broad stroke. I am a conservative, yet I am constantly viewed as liberal simply because I am an Atheist, pro-choice, and support LGBT issues. A lesson I learned as a child is perhaps something that should be reviewed by all... do not assume because it only makes an a$$ of you and me. Instead look to each person to inform you of their character. After all, actions speak louder than words and I find it much more accurate to make decisions based upon an individual's actions and not some worthless generalities that do nothing more than continue to divide this nation.
