Finally received my copy of Maafa 21, an expose of PP and Maggie Sanger's goal of eliminating minorities. Now I just have to find a place to show it. I'm getting NO cooperation from the Buffalo people in fighting PP. These folks just don't get it. They go to the abortuary, which has a bubble zone so wide, it's impossible to reach the "customers". Plus, of course, PP is about more than abortion. I presented the subject at the "40 Days for Life" luncheon, and it seemed to go over well. I emphasized the fact that PP refers to the abortuary; that we need to get to the girls before they go there. By the time they've made an appointment for an abortion, it's most often too late. Then there are the other issues - the sexualizing of kids through their "sex ed", refusal to report statutory rape, and as my sign says, providing "hormones and surgery to minors behind parent's backs".
I am totally disgusted at the "pro-lifers" here. I had the idea that since no one is interested in joining me at PP, perhaps they could at least help me in buying the hand-outs. The head of 40 days said he would order the stuff, and then ask for donations. With all those people who were involved with 40 days, all he got was $60.
I put out an appeal on Facebook begging for pro-lifers to find me a venue where I could present Maafa 21; One person, Raquel, said that she had some contacts - and she's back home in Dutchess County. I appealed to Fr. Pavone, and to Chris Slattery as well. So far, nothing.
Helen, You are the poster girl for fighting "the good fight." Hang tough. God is in control.
